Safety
ACTIVE STABILITY CONTROL [ASC]
Maintain control in wet situations
If the Attrage’s wheels lose their grip on slippery surfaces or while turning, ASC automatically adjusts engine output and applies braking force at the appropriate wheels to help maintain control and prevent skidding.
HILL START ASSIST [HSA]
Easier starts on hills and slopes
HSA makes it easy to start the Attrage on a steep uphill slope by preventing the vehicle from rolling backward. When a gradient is detected, it automatically maintains the brakes until the accelerator is applied.
TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM [TPMS]
Automatically checks your tyres
TPMS employs sensor-transmitters in the wheels to monitor tyre pressure. If one or more tyres becomes significantly underinflated, a warning lamp lights up on the combination meter cluster.
POWER WINDOW
A built-in safety mechanism
The driver’s side window can be raised or lowered with a single touch and features an anti-trap mechanism for safety.
DRIVER AND PASSENGER SRS AIRBAGS
Absorbing the force of impact
In the event of a collision, front SRS airbags activate to help protect you and the front passenger by absorbing the force of impact.
RISE BODY PROTECTION
A cabin with a highly evolved body
The Attrage is built using our advanced Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution body (RISE). This protective frame is constructed of high strength steel that effectively absorbs and disperses crash energy from all directions, while also significantly reducing overall body weight.
LED HIGH MOUNT STOP LAMP
Signal your intention to the traffic behind
An additional LED stop lamp is mounted high up in the Attrage's rear window. This helps to improve safety, because it creates a more visible signal to drivers behind that you're braking.
SEATBELTS WITH PRETENSIONERS
Automatically tightening seatbelts
In the event of a collision, pretensioners automatically tighten the front seatbelts to help restrain the driver and front passenger.
4ABS WITH EBD
Stay in control when braking
ABS prevents the wheels from locking up during emergency braking so you can maintain greater steering control, even on slippery roads. Electronic Brake force Distribution [EBD] distributes braking force to all four wheels to enhance braking performance.

IMPORTANT
HSA: Hill Start Assist [HSA] is not a substitute for safe driving. Never rely solely on this function while driving on steep roads. Your vehicle may move backwards if the brake pedal is not sufficiently depressed, if the brake pedal is heavily loaded, or if the road is very steep or slippery. This function is not designed to keep the vehicle stopped in place on uphill slopes for more than 2 seconds. Do not rely on this function to maintain a stopped position as an alternative to depressing the brake pedal. Please see the owner’s manual for additional information.
ASC: The control capabilities of Active Stability Control [ASC] are supplemental only. Please drive safely and never rely solely on these functions while driving. Be sure to use the same specified type and size of tires on all 4 wheels. Do not install any aftermarket limited slip differential on your vehicle. Please see the owner’s manual for additional information.
